Dr Harry Witchel carried out the research and claims that scientifically “Beautiful ranked #8 in the list of songs which bring more people to tears than any others. The scientific test measured people’s heart rate, breathing and skin temperature as they listened to a variety of tear jerkers.

Paris Hilton is reportedly spending New Year’s Eve in Sydney this year.

Launch Management Group publicist Antonia O’Neill said advertising man John Singleton has secured Hilton’s services to choose the face of his new beer, Bondi Blonde.

Organizers are confident Hilton will show at Bondi on New Year’s Day to select a bikini babe to be the face of the beer, after spending the night enjoying new year’s fun in the Emerald City.

“We’ll be taking good care of her on New Year’s Eve,'’ Ms O’Neill said.

“We are sure Sydney’s hottest parties will want to let us know what they have planned to see if the world’s biggest party girl will want to attend,'’ Ms O’Neill added.

The hotel heiress is due in Sydney on Thursday, the same day that 40 Bondi Blonde finalists will be chosen at Sydney’s Hilton Hotel by Mr Singleton and pro-surfer Koby Abberton.

Ms O’Neill said, “We only found out she was coming out on Friday of last week … she arrives from the United States on Thursday morning.'’

The actress, now famous for a variety of roles on the big and small screens, last week was named the most popular Google news search for 2006.

She is expected to leave Australia on January 2.

Britney Spears may have been cheating on Kevin Federline before she filed for divorce.

Friends of Spears claimed she was “fooling around” with music producer J.R. Rotem before she officially split from Federline last month.

A source said: “J.R. worked with Kevin on his album and something started going on between him and Britney before she filed for divorce.”

Another source refuted the allegations, saying: “There was definite chemistry between them, but Britney waited until after she had split from Kevin.”

Spears who has two sons with Federline, is now reportedly dating Rotem as well as working with him on her comeback album.

The music producer could also be the reason that Spears has cooled her friendship with, because she also dated J.R.
